Ada J. Panicco Gerbi
Ada J. Panicco Gerbi, 94, of Erie, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at Saint Vincent Health Center after a brief illness. She was born March 5, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late John and Josephine Suppo Panicco.
Ada owned and operated Di-Sil's Cafe, along with her husband.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Silvio Gerbi; a grandson, John Leath; and a brother, Eneo Panicco.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise G. Leath (Vaughn) of Wilmette, IL; son, Bruce J. Gerbi (Diana); and three grandchildren, David Leath, Laura Gerbi, and Christopher Gerbi (Karin). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Mass on Monday at Saint Luke Church, 421 East 38th Street, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
