Albert N. DeSantis

Albert N. DeSantis, age 72, of West 32^nd Street, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh following an extended illness.

He was born February 5, 1935 in Erie, a son of the late Joseph and Cecilia Trevison DeSantis. He lived in Erie his entire life. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He had worked in sales at Belco Supplies and had worked for the City of Erie. He was a member of the Siebenbuerger Club and served as their president for numerous years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and traveling.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth Lloyda DeSantis of Erie; two daughters, Suzanne DeSantis of Erie and Sharon Bouchard and her husband Moe of MD; one son, Anthony N. DeSantis and his wife Marcella of Pittsburgh, PA and two sisters, Liz Rush and Delores Bizjak both of Erie. He is also survived by four grandsons, Vito, Erik, Justin and Jordan and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Peace Church, 2401 West 38th Street, on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
