Albert S. Presutti
Albert S. Presutti, 93, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Fairview Manor, surrounded by his family.
He was born on September 18, 1929, the son of the late Placido and Mary DiNino Presutti.
Al was a graduate of Tech Memorial High School and served in the United States Marines. He worked for many years as a dental lab assistant. Al and his former wife also owned and operated the Baskin-Robbins franchise at the Millcreek Mall in the 1970s.
Al was a past member of the Local 17 American Federation of Musicians' Union for over 30 years. He played piano professionally for over 50 years with local jazz groups. He also headed up the Al Presutti Combo.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Laura Presutti, former wife, Gilda Bucarelli Presutti, brother Dominic Presutti, sisters Beatrice Slover and Esther Richards, sisters in law Luanna Presutti, Dorothy Bucarelli, Elizabeth Noziglia and Rita Kownacki, and brothers in law Edward Wierzchowski, Peter Richards, Joseph Bucarelli, Victor Kownacki and John Russell.
Al is survived by his daughter Bridget Seth and her husband Dennis of Erie, grandsons Dennis, Jr. of Winooski, VT, and Christopher (Brianna Potter) of Erie. He is also survived by his brother Placido Presutti and his wife Antionette, sister Mary Jane Wierzchowski, sister in law Jeanette Russell and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Monday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank the staff at Fairview Manor for the wonderful care they provided to Albert.
