Alice A. Kleiner Amann

Alice A. Kleiner Amann, age 67, of Erie, died Thursday, February 10, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family.She was born April 2, 1943 in Erie, a daughter of the late Louis and Jenny Yousten Kleiner.

She was a graduate of East High School. She worked many years and retired from OEM. Alice was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends at gatherings. She liked to play cards and shop.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John J. "Jack" Amann Sr. and her brother, Louis "Duke" Kleiner.

She is survived by two daughters, Nadine I. Meyner and husband Anthony and Carol Lea Amann and spouse David Argeny and four sons, John J. Amann Jr. and wife Katherine, Chuck Amann, Michael W. Amann and Joseph Reynolds and wife Michelle all of Erie. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm and may attend a service there on Monday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Stephen Church, 1237 West 21st Street, at 10 am Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery. .
