Alice DiLeva DelPorto

Alice DiLeva DelPorto, age 98, formerly of 1620 Walnut Street, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Saint Mary's at Asbury Ridge. She was born May 10, 1910 in Erie, a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Raphaela Schalli DiLeva. She lived in Erie her entire life. She was an active member of Saint Paul RC Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Santino DelPorto; five brothers, James, Paul, John, Michael and Fred DiLeva and seven sisters, Ann Rosarno, Mary Fucci, Margaret Monday, Emma Hartleb, Rose Perrini, Josephine Fucci and Carrie Musone. She is survived by one sister, Violet Adiutori of Erie, her nephew and special friend, Sam Constantino of Erie and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 9 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Saint Paul Church, 1617 Walnut St., Erie, PA 16502 or to Saint Paul's Neighborhood Free Clinic, 1608 Walnut Street, Erie, PA 16502.
