Alvin S. "Dutch" Dundon

Alvin S. "Dutch" Dundon, age 85, of Edinboro, died Monday, July 9, 2012 at Golden Living Center following a brief illness. He was born August 6, 1926 in Edinboro, PA, a son of the late Harry and Betsy VanDyke Dundon.

He served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife Susan B. Broncasno Dundon; one brother, Earl Dundon; and six sisters, Opal Abbott, Florence, Hamill, Grace Dundon, Peggy Blystone, Bertha Reynolds, and Ethel Kieser.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a service at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 773, 4109 West 12th Street, Erie, PA 16505 or VFW Post 470, 1808 West 26th Street, Erie, PA 16508.
