Amelia E. Padovani Dorich

Amelia E. Padovani Dorich, age 75, of 4220 Davison Ave., died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at her residence. She was born December 19, 1933 in Erie, a daughter of the late Anthony J. and Adella Wroblewski Padovani.

She lived in Erie her entire life. She enjoyed bowling was an avid golf and basketball fan. She enjoyed bingo and watching the soap opera General Hospital.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Dorich.

She is survived by one sister, Carla Padovani Lewis and her husband James of Erie and two brothers, Anthony Padovani Jr. of Waterford, PA and Samuel Padovani and his wife Elaine of Lebanon, PA.; one niece, Antoinette "Toni" Sullivan and her husband Tim of Cuming, GA; great nephew, Joseph Sullivan and great niece, Maggie Sullivan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 7 to 9 pm and may attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 10 am. Burial will be private in St. Mathias Cemetery.
