Andrew L. Kavelish

Andrew L. Kavelish, age 45, of 954 East 30th Street, died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Hamot Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born February 21, 1962 in Union City a son of the late Allan and Vivian Hayes Kavelish. He served in the United State Air Force at Carswell Air Force Base, Texas. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol Squadron 502. He worked as a machinist at EMI, Snap-tite, Autoclave Engineers and most recently General Electric. He was a muscle car and motorcycle enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Karen and Melissa Kavelish.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sherri A. Sanderson Kavelish; two sons, Aarron James and Stephen A.L. Kavelish both of Erie; six brothers, John A. and his wife Wendy of Erie, Charles A. and his wife Denise of Edinboro, Peter J. and his wife Kris of Austin, TX, Matthew and his wife Vicky of Mill Village, PA, Stephen B. and his wife Amanda of Erie and Allan C. Kavelish of Erie and three sisters, Kathleen A. LaRiccia and her husband Rocco of Edinboro, Anna M. and Stephanie A. Kavelish both of Erie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, an Independent Care Group Affiliate, on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Mclane Cemetery.
