Angelica Maria "Angie" Pratts Silva

Angelica Maria "Angie" Pratts Silva, age 80, of Erie, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born March 4, 1932, in Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Bardomero Pratts and Dominga Rosa Pratts.

Angie had lived in Erie most of her life. She had owned and operated the Hickory Café. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed playing bingo. She loved cooking and was very devoted to her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andres Silva; a daughter, Christina Silva; seven brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by one son, Andrew Silva and his wife, Wendy, Northport, FL, and one daughter, Gladys Ferko and her husband, Frank of Harborcreek; five grandchildren, Frank Ferko (Kelly), Jamie Ferko (Sherry), Melissa Uddin (Malik) Nicole Ferko, Jessica Ortiz (Johnny); and eleven great-grandchildren, Julisa, Johnny, Jenna, Jacob, Ryan, Sarah, Katie, Molly, Julianna, Isabel, and Jonah. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Monday, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend services there on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Paul's RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's RC Church.
