Ann M. Leone Berarducci

Ann M. Leone Berarducci, age 89, of Erie, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at her residence . She was born October 29, 1919 in West Newton, PA, a daughter of the late Enrico and Assunta Fidei Leone.

Living in Erie most of her life as a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, Ann gave unselfishly to everyone who touched her life. She was blessed with a great sense of humor and expressed her love through cooking and baking for all.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Berarducci; one grandson, Jason Campanella; two sisters, Lillian Berarducci and Esther Savocchio and one brother, Joseph Leone.

She is survived by her two daughters, JoAnn Campanella and her husband Anthony and Jackie Bongiorno and her husband Angelo both of Erie and four grandchildren, Sam Campanella and his wife Michele, Anthony Campanella, Jennifer Chivalette and her husband Andre all of Erie and Brett Benner of Philadephia PA. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm and may attend a service there on Saturday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 West 17th Street, at 10 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the John Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation, 915 State Street, Erie, PA 16501.
