Anna Marie Bilotti Nolan

Anna Marie Bilotti Nolan, 96, of Millcreek, died Monday, March 30, 2015 at Westlake Woods. She was born November 17, 1918 in Erie, a daughter of the late Salvatore "Sam" and Filomena Scava Bilotti.

Anna started working at General Electric as a typist and worked her way up to secretary in the Locomotive and car equipment Department until her retirement in 1979, after more than 35 years of service. She belonged to the Quarter Century Club, the G.E. Secretary Club, and the G.E. Retirees Association.

She liked music, especially operas, and she sang in the church choir. In her spare time she knitted and crocheted. Later she began to write about her family and her thoughts about everything around her, and she liked working crossword puzzles.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome R. Nolan who died in 2012, and five brothers, Joseph "Bing" Bilotti, Anthony "Flip" Bilotti, Salvatore "Sammy" Bilotti, Albert Bilotti, and William "Billy" Bilotti, and three sisters, Mary Leonardi, Genevieve Danner and Philomena "Petie" Capozziello.

She is survived by one sister, Angeline Scutella, of Erie, and four sisters-in-law, Elizabeth and Leona Bilotti, Irene Canfield, and JoEllen Sitter and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc, 2122 Raspberry Street, on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and are invited to a funeral service at Mary Queen of Peace Mausoleum Chapel on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
