Anna Sivak Jakubcsik

Anna Sivak Jakubcsik, age 93, of 2114 Cranberry Street, died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center.

She was born October 29, 1914 in Erie, a daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth Sopp Sivak. She was an active life long member of Saint Stephen RC Church. She enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Jakubcsik She is survived by three daughters, Ann DiVecchio and her husband Ronald, Elsa Leone and Mary Presogna; two sons, Stephen Jakubcsik and Anthony Jakubcsik all of Erie and a sister, Elizabeth Shunkwiler of CA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two nieces and a dear friend, Kevin Burns.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm and may attend a service there on Saturday at 8:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Stephen RC Church, 1237 West 21st Street, at 9:00 am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Saint Stephen RC Church or to the charity of one's choice.
