Annette L. Mezzacapo Johnson

Annette L. Mezzacapo Johnson, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 7, 1937, in Erie, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Botch Mezzacapo.

Annette enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, and watching her "TV stories" and Lifetime Movies with her daughters. She loved crocheting and sharing her creations with everyone. The most important aspect of Annette's life was taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas, Frank, and Dan "Butch" Mezzacapo; and her sisters, Marylou Lewis and Dorothy Fay.

Annette is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Robert Johnson; her daughters, Kimberly Gorr (Daniel), Monica Eberhart (Chris), and Traci Brutto (Blaise); her sisters, Carol Hammer and Diane Schellang (Jerry); and her grandchildren, Travis, Dustin, Danielle and Dylan Gorr, Andrea Vannucci, Jenna Mabie, Caila and Cyle Holland, and Alyssa and Payton Brutto. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her very special friend Kelly Daggett.
