Anthony Jakubcsik
Anthony "Tony" Jakubcsik, 63, formerly a resident of Schmidt Towers, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 after a brief illness. He was born February 28, 1953, a son of the late Anthony and Anna Sivak Jakubcski.
Tony was a parishioner of St. Peter Cathedral and frequently attended daily and weekly mass.
He was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School Cass of 1972. He lived the majority of his life in Erie but also worked as a chef in Palm Springs, CA. Tony enjoyed spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his brother, Stephen Jakubcsik; three sisters, Ann M. DiVecchio (Ronald), Elsa Leone, and Mary Presogna all of Erie; a nephew; and several nieces.
Friends will be received on Saturday at Saint Peter Cathedral, 230 West 10th Street, from 9 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Mass there at 10 a.m. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
