Antoinette "Toni" Rigazzi Cacchione

Antoinette "Toni" Rigazzi Cacchione, age 88, of Erie, died Wednesday, August 4, 2013 at The Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center after a brief illness.

She was born June 13, 1925 in Rocca Pia, Italy, a daughter of the late Sabatino and Chiarina Leone Rigazzi. She lived in Erie most of her life.

Toni was a member of the Ladies Montenero Society.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Cacchione; two sisters, Susan DelPorto and Mary Rigazzi and one brother, Patrick Riazzi.

She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Cacchione of Erie; two sons, Samuel Cacchione and wife Linda of Loveland, OH and David Cacchione of Ludlow, KY; three grandchildren, Angela M. Leamy, Kristina Cacchione and Karina Horton and five great-grandchildren, Hailey Cacchione, Blake Erven, Gabriel, Olivia, and Zachary Horton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service there on Saturday at a time to be announced. Burial will in Laurel Hill Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at The Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center for the wonderful care, love and kindness given to her.
