It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Armoni Cantu on December 17, 2024. He was born in Erie on August 14, 2007 and was a cherished son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.
Armoni had a passion for music, rapping, playing Xbox with friends, and watching sports. He always dressed to impress, and above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving mother and father, Valerie Cantu and Robert Jones; his brother's keeper, Aiden Cantu; his brothers, Robert, Lorenzo, and Quincy Jones; his sisters, Laneequa, Tania, Amore, Arabella, Ahlana, Nylani, Audrianna, and Brooklyn Jones; his grandparents, Dean and Pam Cantu; his favorite aunt, Megan Cantu along with Amanda Cantu, Sheena, Linda, Ida, Patricia, Ruth, Carol, and Darria; his uncles, Ricardo and Daniel; his cousin, Cameron Cantu, who cherished Armoni dearly; and his tight circle of friends, whom he considered his brothers.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ray and Linda; his uncle, David Ferguson; and two close family friends, Snori and Boomp.
Family and friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Burial will be private in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
