Barbara A. Dodick Barlow

Barbara A. Dodick Barlow, age 47, of Erie, died Sunday, March 11, 2012 at UPMC Hamot following an extended illness.

She was born March 30, 1964 in Erie, a daughter of the late Joseph and Andeline Sambuchino Dodick. She graduated from Tech Memorial High School and Edinboro University. She was a devoted wife and mother. Barbara was an accomplished cook and baker and enjoyed the company of her dog Regal.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Harold B. "Hal" Barlow; one daughter, Erica L. Barlow, and one son, Nicholas A. Barlow; one brother, John Dodick and his wife, Elaine, and one sister, Darlene Pundt and her husband, Mathew, all of Erie. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Peter's Cathedral, 230 West Tenth Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
