Bette L. Lloyda DeSantis

Bette L. Lloyda DeSantis, age 73, of Erie, died Tuesday January 8, 2008 at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh after a brief illness.

She was born April 7, 1934 in Johnstown, PA, a daughter of the late Joseph "Jay" and Henrietta Getz Lloyda. She lived in Erie most of her life and enjoyed traveling.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert N. DeSantis. She is survived by one son, Anthony N. DeSantis and his wife Marcella of Pittsburgh, PA; two daughters, Suzanne DeSantis of Erie and Sharon Bouchard and her husband Moe of MD and two sisters, Patsy Burke and Jean Spusta both of Erie. She is also survived by four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm and may attend a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, 2401 West 38th Street, on Saturday at 9:30 am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
