Bette M. Paris Cleaver

Bette M. Paris Cleaver, age 91, of Erie, passed away surrounded by family and into the loving arms of our Lord on Monday, December 13, 2010 at Pleasant Ridge Manor East.

She was born March 31, 1919 in Erie, a daughter of the late Edward and Lillian Connaroe Paris. She loved to roller skate and dance in her younger days. She was an avid knitter and sewer and greatly enjoyed her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel F. Cleaver and one brother, Leo Niemiec.

She is survived by three daughters, Toni Perkins and husband Ron Berarducci, Jean Schweitzer and husband Tom and Kathy Henry and husband Bill; two brothers, Paul Paris and Raymond Paris all of Erie and ten grandchildren, Pete Buziewicz and wife Judi, Brian Buziewicz and wife Coleen, Cindy Hunt and husband Brian, Tom Schweitzer Jr. and wife Carol, Dan Schweitzer, Bill Schweitzer, Betsy Yochim and husband Tom, Billy Henry and wife Michele, Brett Henry and Ashley Henry Seelinger and husband Joe. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm and may attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 9:30 am.
