Bettie M. Davis Butterfield Hermann

Bettie M. (Davis Butterfield) Hermann, 86, of Erie, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 at LECOM at Village Square. She was born November 10, 1934 in Corry, PA, a daughter of the late Henry and Wahnita Davis.

Bettie grew up in Corry.

She was member of the Millcreek Legion Color Guard, Sportsmen's Club, and an avid member of many local American Legion Auxiliaries. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and socializing at the casino and clubs with her friends.

Bettie adored her grandchildren and spending time with her family was the most important thing to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Frank Ras; several brothers and sisters; Roland Butterfield; and a dear friend, James Wilcox.

She is survived by two sons, Don Butterfield (Michele Quadri Butterfield) and Bill Butterfield (Jackie); one brother, Ron Craker; two sisters, Snookie Bailey and Ruth Bigelow; and eight grandchildren, Isabella, Hayden, Caleb, Edward, Kristen, Kristin, Jonathan, and Michelle. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to a walk-through visitation on Thursday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. All visitors must wear masks and abide by all social distancing standards. A Funeral Service will be held there on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
