Betty Jane Bucci Fabrizio

Betty Jane Bucci Fabrizio, 89, of Erie, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center. She was born July 15, 1929 in Lackawanna, NY, a daughter of the late Angelo and Filomena DiSantis Bucci.

Betty Jane was a Ladies Auxiliary member of the Maennerchor, Seinbenbuerger, and Sunflower Clubs. She was also a member of the Ladies Montenero Society, the Italian American Women's Association, and the Saint Paul's Choir and Rosary Society.

She was an avid bingo and card player, enjoyed music and dancing and most importantly spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Robert Fabrizio and her sister, Mary DeSantis.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda A. Behn (Gary) of Erie; three sons, Thomas Fabrizio (Ruth Ann) of Erie, Robert Fabrizio (Janet) of Pittsburgh, PA, and David Fabrizio (Rachel) of Sherman Oaks, CA; grandchildren, Chris Behn (Rachel), Jennifer Behn Sadowski (Scott), Ashley Behn Fisher (Matthew), Andrea Proctor (James), Daniele Wheeler (Charles), Tracy Fabrizio Eaton (Daniel), Andrea Morgan, Jessica Fabrizio, Alexa Fabrizio, Jaiden Fabrizio, Christian Fabrizio, Evan Hawksley, and Heather Spinrad; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Betty D. Fabrizio. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and may attend a Service there on Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 1600 Peninsula Dr STE 15, Erie, PA 16505.
