Beverly Ann Hosu Van Maele
Beverly Ann Hosu Van Maele, 66, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at her home. She was born August 3, 1950 in Erie,a daughter of Agnes Luciano Vogel of Erie and the late John Vogel.
She had worked for the American Cancer Society for many years and was a member of the Montenero Ladies Society.
Beverly was a selfless person who always put everyone's needs before her own. Her passions were her children and grandchildren whom she adored and loved beyond measure. She touched the lives of many with her kind smile, generosity, and loving nature. Beverly always went out of her way to help anyone. She will forever be a loving wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, James A. Van Maele of Erie; a daughter Amy E. Okey (Ben) of Erie; one son, Anthony M. Van Maele (Christina) of Concord, OH; two brothers, John A. Vogel (Carol) and David P. Hosu (Betti) both of Erie; and seven grandchildren, Connor, Cole, Antonio, Ryan, Mackenzie, Madison, and Anna. She is also survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert E Van Maele and Mildred R. Van Maele of Erie; her brother-in-law, John E. Van Maele (Diane) of Lantana, TX; and one niece and three nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service there on Monday at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice
