Brian David Gasper

Brian David Gasper, 61, of Erie, passed away Tuesday November 6, 2018 in Andover, OH. He was born May 23, 1957 in Erie, a son of the late Donald A and Anna M. Yarussi Gasper.

He was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School class of 1976 where he played football.

He worked for over 30 years for the Erie School District with his father Don Gasper.

Brian an avid card player, especially playing pinochle; he also enjoyed bowling, bocce, and visits to the peninsula. He was a talented drummer and loved playing at weddings.

Brian was a cancer survivor and valiantly fought diabetes for over 35 years. He was the bravest and kindest person one could ever know.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Donna Gasper Burke.

He is survived by his brother, Gary D. Gasper of Wayne, PA; one niece, Allison Carr; and three nephews, Daniel, Mike, and Sean Hopkins. He is also survived by nine great-nieces and nephews.
