Bruce W. Barth

Bruce W. Barth, age 69, of Erie, died Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at UPMC Hamot after a brief illness. He was born April 11, 1944 in Titusville, PA, a son of the late Elsie Proper Barth.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Bruce had worked at Swede's Radiator for over 30 years, retiring in 2011.

He was a NASCAR Fan.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Rainey Barth and three sisters.

He is survived by three daughters, Julie Ortiz and husband Edwin, Stacy Best both of Erie and Brenda Hillebrandt of GA; six sons, Stephen Barth of Erie, Wesley Barth and wife Tabitha FL, James Barth and wife Michelle of Erie, Stephen Wattle and wife Cheryl of Union City, Randy Wattle and wife Dorie of Erie and Anthony Wade of GA and one brother, Bill Barth and wife Theda of FL. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday evening from 5 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 8 p.m. Burial will be private in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family
