Carol J. Freidline Fisher
Carol J. “Jo” Freidline Fisher, age 70, of 524 East 2nd Street, died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born September 13, 1936 in Rockwood, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles W. and Hazel M. Lytle Freidline.
She lived in Erie most of her life. She had owned an operated Fisher’s Avenue Restaurant for 17 years. She enjoyed bingo, card games, music and her flower garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Fisher, Sr., an infant son, Donnie Dean Fisher and 13 brothers and sisters. She is survived by four daughters, Carol L. Amann and her husband, Charles of Titusville, Pa., Brenda L. Fisher and her husband William of Erie, Nicole M. Fisher of Erie and Dorothy E. Heubel and her husband Gary Sr. of Fairview, Pa.; three sons, John S. Fisher, Jr. and his wife Christine of Erie, Bryan K. Fisher of Erie and Dale A. Fisher and his wife Renee of Elizabeth, Pa.; one brother, Russell Freidline of Myersdale, Pa. and one sister, Betty Muscardelli and her husband Sylvester of Johnstown, Pa. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, an Independent Care Group Affiliate, on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service there on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
