Carolyn F. Fucci Fox

Carolyn F. Fucci Fox, age 68, of Erie, died Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Village at Luther Square after an extended illness.

She was born July 29, 1944 in Meadville, a daughter of the late Frank and Caroline Musica Fucci. She lived in Erie most of her life.

Carol worked at Verizon, retiring in 2007. She enjoyed casino's and playing bingo.

In addition her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Fox Buzzanco, a brother, Vincent Fucci, and two sisters, Helen Corsi and Rosalie Martinucci.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Lee Niedzwiecki and husband Ken and Melissa A. Hanson; two sisters, Ann Braggins and husband Chuck and Rene Fucci all of Erie, and seven grandchildren, Ryan and Erik Niedzwiecki, Kara Landis and husband Todd, Frankie Buzzanco, and Gabrielle, Zack, and Jacob Hanson. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Gabriel Hanson and Bentley Buzzanco and many nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at the family's convenience. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
