Carson F. Munn Jr.

Carson F. Munn, Jr., 65, of Erie, died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Presque Isle Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born June 3, 1949 in Corry, a son of the late Carson F. Munn, Sr. and Eva Vanderhoof Munn.

He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He had worked at Corry Jamestown and at General Electric for 34 years.

He had a brilliant mind and enjoyed science fiction, history, and old westerns. For those who knew him he was a kind and generous man and will be missed.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Jerry Munn and one sister, Carol Ann Munn.

He is survived by three sisters, Sandra Manno, Suzanne Royek and Sharon Merritt all of Corry; his good friend, Kevin M. Krivonak of Erie and many nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
