Cecelia M. "Ceil" Presogna Connors

Cecelia M. "Ceil" Presogna Connors, 69, of Erie, died Friday, October 30, 2015 at Health South after a brief illness. She was born April 1, 1946 in Erie, a daughter of the late John and Mary Pacuraw Presogna. She lived in Erie her entire life.

She was a 1964 graduate of Villa Maria Academy. She had worked for the City of Erie and the Auditor General's Office. Ceil was active in the Democratic Women of Erie County and was named Woman of the Year in 1996. She enjoyed crafts and cooking.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Terrance M. Connors; a son, Craig M. Connors; and a niece, Jacqueline C. Presogna.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise N. Connors of Delray Beach, FL; two brothers, Tom J. Presogna (Dusty) and John R. Presogna (Connie); one sister, Barbara Schwartz (William); two grandsons, Jonathan and Brandon Connors; and a goddaughter, Kathy Leonetti Tesore all of Erie.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Mass on Tuesday at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
