Celia D'Amico Cargioli

Celia D'Amico Cargioli, age 86, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Erie, died Tuesday, May 20, 2008 in Fairfield, Ohio. She was born January 2, 1922 in Erie, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Grace Riccardo D'Amico. She lived in Erie most of her life. She enjoyed cards, games, crocheting, cooking and bingo.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Geno Cargioli; an infant son, Geno Cargioli Jr.; five brothers, Thomas, John, Angelo, Alfred and Dominick D'Amico and three sisters, Mary Letizia, Florence Salorino and Rose Comi. She is survived by one son, Michael Cargioli and his wife Diane of Fairfield, OH and three grandchildren, Sara, Robert and Michael A. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and are invited to attend a service there on Saturday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. George RC Church, 5145 Peach Street, at 10 am Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
