Charles Conway

Charles Leroy Conway, age 64, of Erie, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at UPMC Hamot. He was born November 19, 1948 in Renovo, PA, a son of the late Charles and Louise Fisher Conway.

Charles devoted his life to his family. He enjoyed classic cars and collected model cars.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Goodwill Conway, a brother, Glenn Conway and an infant sister, Louise.

He is survived by his four daughters, Teresa Swanson and companion Terry, Mary Swanson, Sandra Zatkiewicz and husband Troy and Nancy Conway and companion Dave; three sons, Jeffery Swanson, Charles Conway Jr. all of Erie and Glenn Swanson and wife Lisa Rubio Swanson of FL; two brothers, Thomas Conway and wife Denise of Erie and Paul Michael Conway of Clearfield, PA and one sister, Shirley Mae Cutler of Clearfield, PA. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation, 130 West 8th St., Erie, PA 16501.

The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
