Charles T. Urraro

Charles T. Urraro, age 76, passed away peacefully at his residence after a months long battle with cancer on Sunday, February 25, 2024. He was born on October 4, 1947 in Erie, a son of the late Frank and Marianne Vendetti Urraro.

Chuck enjoyed a long career as a heavy equipment operator and was a 53 year member of Operating Engineers Local 66. He enjoyed following football and was a lifelong die-hard Cleveland Browns fan. Chuck was a skilled woodworker and could build just about anything with his hands. He was also a "muscle car" enthusiast and had restored a few classic corvettes over the years. He was a member of La Nuova Aurora Society and loved playing bocce with his friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Urraro.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Karen Bly Urraro; his daughter, Elizabeth Urraro; his son, Lance Urraro; his sisters, Rebecca Kistle, Lisa McLallen (David), and Anne Kelly (Bobby); his brother, Curt Urraro (Christina); and nieces, Carmen Goodson and Abby McShane. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
