Cheryl L. Bauschard Laube

Cheryl L. Bauschard Laube, 66, of Erie, went to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. She was born November 7, 1946 in Erie, a daughter of the late Charles and R. Gladys Smith Bauschard.

Cheryl graduated from McDowell High School in 1965. She owned and operated her own Beauty Salon for many years. Cheryl was a wonderful, selfless woman who would do anything for her family and friends…and if you were her friend you were family. Nothing in life ever brought her more joy than spending time with "her boys" Derek and Joshua.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Charles Bauschard.

She is survived by one daughter, Lauren M. Brady and her husband Dennis of Erie; one brother, Dennis Bauschard of Erie; five sisters, Barbara Bauschard of Erie, Charlene Wahlen Laur, of Florida, Charita Larson and her husband Paul, of Arizona, Susan Laube, and Roberta Schroder and her husband Richard, of Illinois; dear friends, Kathy Orlando and her husband Vin, Kathy Wilson, and Dee Engle, all of Erie. Also surviving are two grandsons, Derek and Joshua and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Tuesday, April 2nd from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
