Cindy Lou Walburn

Cindy Lou Walburn, age, 52, of Erie, died Monday, April 11, 2011 at Abington Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, after a courageous 3 year fight with cancer.

She was born September 22, 1958 in Erie, a daughter of the late Paul Arthur and Agnes Kirch Walburn. She lived in Erie her entire life. She was a kind and devoted daughter, sister and friend. She loved animals and flower gardening.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph E. Northard.

She is survived by one brother, George P. Walburn and wife Cheryl of Erie and several nieces.

No calling hours will be observed. Friends are invited to attend a graveside committal service on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 4523 Love Road, at 10 am. Memorials may be made to the Regional Cancer Center, 2500 West 12th Street, Erie, PA 16505. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc, 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
