Clara C. Costa Wimberley

Clara C. Costa Wimberley, 85, of Erie, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Saint Vincent Health Center. She was born April 9, 1929 in Blanchton, PA, a daughter of the late Thomas and Marie Masara Costa.

She enjoyed bingo, social gathering at Elmwood Gardens, and her family.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Rita M. Sarra of Erie and Marie A. Velez (Joseph Jr.) of VA; one son, Dave E. Sarra (Rosemary) of McKean, PA; one brother, Thomas Costa (Bonnie) of Eau Claire, PA; three sisters, Rose Majeroni of Erie, Rebecca Oravicz and Jenny Chernick both of Butler, PA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday at The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 2 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 4:30 p.m. with Rev. Michael Barlett officiating.
