Cosmo A. Grizanti

Cosmo A. Grizanti, age 84, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born April 3, 1936, in Westfield, New York, a son of the late James and Jennie Paternosh Grizanti.

Cosmo graduated from Westfield Academy and Central School. He enjoyed animals, traveling, reading books and was a history buff. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family. Cosmo was a member of the Siebenbuerger Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Vincent, Samuel, and Charles Grizanti.

Cosmo is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Patricia Bialaszewski Grizanti; his daughters, Ann Emling (Michael), Jennifer Grizanti, Stephanie Grizanti, and Renee Sakuta (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Nicole, Kayla, Carly, Harrison, Anthony, Analis, Alexis, and Enrique; and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Joseph Grizanti; his sister Betty Fiorenzo; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502, and are invited to a Funeral Service there on Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
