Daniel A. Hamilton

Daniel A. Hamilton, age 31, of Hollywood, California, formerly of Edinboro, died Thursday, May 12, 2011 in Kern County, California as a result of an accident.

He was born September 26, 1979 in Erie, a son of Katherine I. Danylko Bottoni and her husband Tom and David A. Hamilton and his fiancée Noelle of Erie. Daniel attended General McLane High School. He was an avid skier, sailor, and tennis player. He enjoyed traveling, acting, and the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Dacia M. Hamilton; his brother, Jonathan D. Hamilton; paternal grandparents, Dorothy Hamilton and Ron Hamilton; two uncles, Brian Hamilton and wife Lori and Robert Danylko and wife Theresa and one nephew, Brenden Mayo all of Erie. He is also survived by cousins and many dear friends.

Friends are invited to join with the family for a celebration of Daniel's life, at the Erie Bayfront Convention Center, 1 Sassafras Pier, on Wednesday evening from 7 to 10 p.m. A "Tribute to Daniel's Life" will begin at 8:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
