David A. Stevens

David A. Stevens, age 59 of Erie, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born November 9, 1953 in Erie, a son of the late Jack and Irene Sherman Stevens. He had worked at Braendel Painting. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling and volunteered at the Emmaus Soup Kitchen.

His is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Stevens, four sons, David, Derrick, Jonny and Tyler Stevens, a brother Jim Sampson of Virginia Beach and two sisters, Cheryl Stevens, Las Vegas, NV and Sharon Ferrara of Erie. Also surviving are grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
