David J. Sissem

David J. Sissem, 56, of Erie, died Friday, August 12, 2016 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born June 10, 1960 in Erie, a son of the late Howard J. and Virginia Lombardozzi Sissem.

He was a graduate of Tech Memorial and had worked at Organ Supplies and Eriez Magnetics.

He was a Cleveland Browns football fan and a talented house painter.

David had a big heart and was a friend to all.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Rebecca May.

He is survived by his son, Dalton J. Sissem of Erie; two brothers, Steven Sissem of Edinboro and Sonny Sissem (Denise) of Erie; one sister, Priscilla Sissem of Indiana, PA; and one brother-in-law, Bob May of Erie. He is also survived by his dear friend, Leah Bardo of Erie and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 5711 West Lake Road, at 10 a.m.
