Delores J. Yacobozzi Lombardo

Delores J. Yacobozzi Lombardo, age 72, of Erie, died Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at Saint Vincent Health Center. She was born January 31, 1939 in Erie, a daughter of the late Antonio and Jennie Sanfratello Yacobozzi.

She lived in Erie her entire life. She was a devoted mother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Robert Yacobozzi and one sister, Mary Parker.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Frank J. Lombardo, Sr. of Erie; one daughter, Lisa M. Gero and husband, Vincent, of Cleveland, Ohio; three sons, Samuel J. Lombardo of Pittsburgh, Frank J. Lombardo, Jr. and fiancee, Chris Lindsey, of Erie and Peter J. Lombardo of Melton, Wis.; and one grandson, Anthony C. Hassell of Cleveland, Ohio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
