Diane M. Rukat Lynch

Diane M. Rukat Lynch, 66, of Erie, died Monday, September 7, 2015 at Saint Vincent Health Center after a brief illness. She was born May 23, 1949 in Erie, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Brown Rukat.

Diane had worked as a nurse's aide and owner and operated a used furniture business. She was a devoted wife and mother.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lynch; a brother, Dan J. Rukat and an infant brother, Charles Rukat.

She is survived by her son , Brian L. Morgan of Erie; two daughters, Catrina Anderson (Mike) of Erie and Tammy Morgan of Buffalo, NY and one brother, Harry J. Rukat. She is also survived by five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service there at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, 816 West 26th Street, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
