Dolores J. Bellucci Zero

Dolores J. Bellucci Zero, age 82, of Erie, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Golden Living Center Western Reserve. She was born March 16, 1931 in Erie, a daughter of the late Arturo and Concetta Bellucci.

Dolores was a 1949 graduate of Academy High School. She was a homemaker and was previously employed with F.W. Woolworth's for three years and with General Telephone Company of Pennsylvania for ten years.

Dolores was a long time member of Saint Paul's RC Church and was involved in their bereavement ministry. She enjoyed her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Lucio N. Zero on February 13, 2010; two sisters, Anna L. DiNicola and husband John Mario and Esther Meyer and husband Herbert; two brothers-in-law, Florindo Zero and wife Giuseppina and Matteo Gonnella; a nephew, John Mario DiNicola; a niece, Karen Ann Meyer and great-nephew, Berardino "Benny" Bonaminio, Jr.

She is survived by her son, David F. Zero and two sisters-in-law, Iole Bonaminio and husband Fernando of Lorain, OH, and Virginia Gonnella of Montenero Val Cocchiara, Italy. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service there on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Saint Paul RC Church Building Fund, 1617 Walnut St., Erie, PA 16502, or Saint Paul's Neighborhood Free Clinic, 1608 Walnut St., Erie, PA 16502 or to the Sisters of Saint Joseph, 5031 West Ridge Rd., Erie, PA 16506.
