Dolores M. Haworth Casale

Dolores "Dee" M. Haworth Casale, 88, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at UPMC Hamot. She was born August 19, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late Herman and Frances Kowalski Haworth.

She was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School.

Dee had worked at the Erie Airport and practically ran the front end of the Airport for the past 16 years. If you ever have flown in or out of Erie you surely came across her helping hand in one way or another.

Dee's great-grandchildren will miss her bringing them gum or money with each visit! She will also be missed by all who knew her; especially her family when her first great-granddaughter is born later this year as she was so excited for her birth.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Casale.

She is survived by her daughter, Mari Joy Casale of St. Petersburg, FL; two sons, John G. Casale (Irene) of Hollywood, FL and Bruce J. Casale (Lucy) of Erie; three grandchildren, Natalie (Eric), Michael (Mckenzie) and Mallery (Joe); seven great-grandchildren, Vincent, Rocco, Dino, Salvatore, Nico, Luciano, Quinn, and first great-granddaughter due in September. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday at Saint Joseph Church, 147 West 24th Street, at 11:00 a.m. followed by entombment in Calvary Mausoleum. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
