Donald J. Thomas

Donald J. "Don" Thomas, age 62, of 741 East 23rd Street, died Friday, June 8, 2007 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute after a four year courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 28, 1945 in Ridgeway, PA a son of the late Chalmers and Rosemary Stafford Thomas.

He worked at Erie Concrete and Steel, G.E. and at the Maennerchor Club. He enjoyed going to Scooters Tavern and being with his family.

He is survived by his two brothers, David P. Thomas and his wife Patricia and Dennis J. Thomas and his wife Victoria both of Erie and twelve loving nieces and nephews, Debbie, Dennis, John, Dave and Karen Austin and Pam, Paul, Scott, Paula, Sheri, Tracey and Kelly Thomas all of Erie. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 until the time of service there at 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family in care of the Funeral Home. He will be loved and always remembered.
