Donald J. Haibach

Donald J. Haibach, age 75, of Erie, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Village at Luther Square after a brief illness.

He was born May 13, 1935 in Erie, a son of the late Arthur C. and Violet L. Brozell Haibach. He lived in Erie his entire life. Donald had worked as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting, farming, auctions and antiques.

In addition to his parent he was preceded in death by three brothers, Art, Robert and Albert Haibach and one sister, Virginia Bernard.

He is survived by two daughters, Debra K. Bisbee of Ripley, NY and Darlene L. Vogel and husband John of Findley Lake; three sons, Donald L. Haibach and wife Kim of Corry, PA, Louis C. Haibach of Wattsburg, PA and Richard J. Haibach and wife Sallie of Erie; one brother, Norman Haibach of Waterford, PA and one sister, Marjorie Brogdon of Huntington, PA. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 3 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at the family's convenience. Burial will be in Sterrettania Cemetery.
