Donald L. Bevelacqua

Donald L. Bevelacqua, 98, of Erie, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Fairview Manor and joined his wife in heaven. He was born March 8, 1923 in Erie, a son of the late Angelo and Elizabeth Lloyd Bevelacqua.

Donald served in the United States Army during World War II and was a Silver Star recipient.

He attended Tech Memorial High School.

Donald worked at Marx Toys and then for Fenestra until his retirement in 1988.

He enjoyed working on anything mechanical and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Evans Bevelacqua; one brother, Marino Bevelacqua; one sister, Lucy Bevelacqua; and his nephew, Joseph Bevelacqua.

He is survived by his two sons, Donald Bevelacqua and Timothy Bevelacqua; one niece, Jeanne Obst; and one nephew, Angelo Bevelacqua (Kim).

Friends are invited to attend a graveside Funeral Service on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 4523 Love Rd., in section 1, The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., is handling arrangements. He was the best Dad ever and will be greatly missed.
