Edward A. Barnack, age 83, 1039 West 20th Street, died Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Presque Isle Rehab & Nursing Center. He was born October 11, 1924 in Erie, PA, a son of the late George and Theresa Chermack Barnack. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He enjoyed traveling, reading and gardening.

He is survived by one sister, Eleanor M. Barnack of Erie and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, today from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Monday at 8:45 am followed by a Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church, 816 West 26th Street, at 9:15 am.
