Edward A. "Big Ed" Eichner, age 47, of McKean, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at UPMC Hamot. He was born October 28, 1965 in Erie, a son of the late Janice Lee Eichner.

He was the owner and operator of Jerilu Produce.

Ed was an avid Chicago sports fan. He enjoyed music, sports cars, and his vegetable garden.

He was a devoted uncle who dearly loved his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Mary Eichner.

He is survived by his sister, Jennifer Robson and husband Ray; a brother, Matthew Eichner and wife Jill; two nieces, Mickenzie Robson and Shelby Eichner and three nephews, Cooper Robson, Lucas Eichner and McCall Eichner all of McKean. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 3 to 8 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service there on Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation, 130 West 8th Street, Suite 216, Erie, PA 16501.
