Edwin L. Figurski

Edwin L. Figurski, age 83, formerly of Upland Drive, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at the Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center after an extended illness. He was born March 11, 1929 in Erie, a son of the late Stanislaus and Stella Figurski .

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Edwin had worked at EEMCO for 35 years, retiring in 2002. He enjoyed golf and fishing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mildred P. Pallotta Figurski; one daughter, Jodi M. Figurski; one son, Jeffrey M. Figurski and wife Chari all of Erie and one sister, JoAnn Ferguson of Florida.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Paul RC Church, 1617 Walnut Street, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery.
