Eleanor DeSanti Juiliano

Eleanor DeSanti Juiliano, age 81, of Erie, died Friday, April 1, 2011 at Fairview Manor after a brief illness. She was born December 20, 1929 in Erie, a daughter of the late Joseph and Thomasina Pasquale DeSanti.

She enjoyed was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirate fan. She enjoyed her garden and bowling. Eleanor loved her family. At 81 she was looking forward to going home to be with the Lord and reuniting with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Juiliano, Sr.; a daughter-in-law, Shelia Juiliano; two brothers, Louis and Henry DeSanti and three sisters, Mary Malizia, JoAnn Hickey and Dolores DeSanti.

She is survived by three daughters, Elaine Eller and husband John of Fairview, Madeline Mink and husband Kenneth of McKean and Kathy Yurkewicz and husband Mike of Erie; two sons, Donald Juiliano and wife Sondie of Cranberry, PA and Joseph Juiliano, Jr. of Leesburg, FL. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc, 2122 Raspberry Street on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a service there on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, 2401 38th West, at 10:30 a.m.. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
