Eleanor M. Fosco DelGobbo

Eleanor M. Fosco DelGobbo, age 95, of Erie, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Saint Mary's Home of Erie. She was born April 23, 1919 in Erie, a daughter of the late Anthony and Carmella DiNardo Fosco.

She had worked at Ridgefield Elementary School and ran their cafeteria for 11 years. She also worked at Hills Department Store for 20 years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel DelGobbo.

She is survived by her two sons, George A. DelGobbo and wife Sharon of Columbus, GA and Kenneth D. DelGobbo and wife Carole of San Rafael, CA; one brother, Kenneth Fosco of Erie and one sister, Jeanette Spinelli and husband Joseph of Erie. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jane, Mary and Samuel DelGobbo and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. and may attend a Funeral Service there on Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. Eleanor's family would like to thank her caregivers, Nancy Steurer and Lee Sample and the staff at Saint Mary's Home of Erie for all their wonderful care.
